Washburn Law hosts five Russian judges

The judges, including Sergey Baranov, Larisa Sudnyachenkova, and Vadim Pavlov, were given an overview of the American legal education system by Professor Nancy Maxwell. The judges also toured the Law Library and Law Clinic, and learned about the trial advocacy program at Washburn Law from Professor Aida Alaka and recent graduate Duston Slinkard. Other stops in Topeka included the Shawnee County District Court, a shopping trip at nearby stores, and the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site.
