(Tega Cay, S.C.) – An Open World delegation from Armenia arrives in Tega Cay, South Carolina on Wednesday, February 29 for a week long program to promote mutual understanding between Armenia journalists and bloggers and their U.S. counterparts. Hosted by the Tega Cay based “Soonch” (Armenian for Breath), the delegates will explore the role of journalists, public relations, blogging, and social media in a democracy.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Open World Leadership Center, a Congressional agency working to increase U.S.-Eurasian understanding and partnerships, will welcome and host its first delegations from Serbia. The delegations will focus on Higher Education, Museum Management and Non-Governmental Organization Management and Sustainability during their stay in the United States from Wednesday, February 15 through Saturday, February 25. The program is in cooperation with USAID, which provided the funding, and the U.S. Embassy, Belgrade.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Open World Leadership Center, the Congressional agency working to increase U.S.-Eurasian understanding and partnerships, will present its 2012 National Grantee of Merit award during the annual grantee meeting on Tuesday, January 31. This year’s honoree is the Supporters of Civil Society in Russian (SCSR), of St. Louis, MO, a partner of the Moscow School of Political Studies (MSPS).
