FHI 360 to Receive Open World’s National Grantee of Merit Award at 2018 Annual Grantee Meeting

WASHINGTON, D.C. —Today, Open World Leadership Center announces that FHI 360 will receive the National Grantee of Merit Award at the 2018 Annual Grantee Meeting on Monday, January 29, 2018. The National Grantee of Merit Award is awarded to an organization who has demonstrated outstanding service to Open World.

The FHI 360 team began hosting Open World delegations in 2002. FHI 360 has hosted 6,748 Open World delegates. In 2018, FHI 360 will host 276 delegates from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. FHI 360’s program themes for 2018 include: Agricultural Subsidies, Best Practices for Media Professionals, Combatting Human Trafficking, Cyber-Intellectual Property Rights, Disability Advocacy and Reforms, Ecological Protection of Seaports, Education, Legislative Development, Medicine, Members of Parliament, Rule of Law, Social Entrepreneurship, Veteran Affairs, and Zoo Management.
