HELENA, MT—Today, the Open World Leadership Center will honor WorldMontana and local hosts in Helena. This week, WorldMontana is hosting an Open World delegation of Members of Parliament (MPs) from Kyrgyzstan in Helena, MT from October 12-18, 2018. The theme for this week’s delegation is accountable governance.

During the host recognition ceremony, Ambassador John O’Keefe, Counselor to Open World’s Board of Trustees will honor WorldMontana board members, families, and individuals who have contributed to the experience of Open World delegates in Montana.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the Open World Leadership Center released a solicitation to establish a cost reimbursement contract for logistics support starting on January 1, 2019. The contract will support services for the Open World program to assist in the enhancement of understanding and capabilities for cooperation between the United States and Eurasian countries by developing a network of leaders in that region who have gained significant, firsthand exposure to America’s democratic, accountable government and free market system.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Open World Leadership Center begins soliciting proposals for its 2019 exchange programs from U.S. based organizations with established foreign visitors programs or demonstrated ability to host foreign visitors. Organizations submitting proposals design 10-day professional development programs for emerging political, civic, and community leaders from Eurasia. All professional programs link Open World delegates to national, regional, and local levels of governance and provide insight into private sector activity in their community and/or state.

BLUEFIELD, WV — The Open World Leadership Center will honor local hosts in the Bluefield area including federal judges and members of the Center for International Understanding (CIU), Inc. This week, CIU is hosting an Open World delegation of judges from Mongolia in Princeton, WV from July 21-29, 2018. The theme for this delegation is judicial rule of law.
