COIL’s Hungarian programming began in 2022 at the request of the U.S. Congress as part of the COIL expansion to Central Europe. Hungarian programming centers on parliamentary delegations and issues pertinent to Hungary such as migration and inclusion. Our program for Hungary started in 2022 at the request of the U.S. Congress. Our first delegation from Hungary, comprised of local elected officials and advisory staff, traveled to the U.S. in February 2022. We then had a delegation of Members of Parliament travel to the U.S. in September of 2022.
