The Congressional Office for International Leadership has hosted 32,000 delegates through its Open World program across all 50 states. Local grantees host delegates in homestays in towns and cities across the United States, where delegates participate in an agenda catered to their professional interests. Delegates engage in meetings with local officials, discussions with community organizations and schools, and cultural activities with their host families throughout their homestay in the United States. Americans have the opportunity to meet our delegates at each of these events and exchange cultures, languages, and ideas with each delegation in their local community.
