Open World Announces Grant Recipients for 2017

WASHINGTON, D.C. —Today, Open World Leadership Center announced grant recipients for 2017. Open World awarded grants to 12 non-profit organizations across the United States to further their programs for international exchanges.

All 2017 grant recipients will work directly with Open World to develop professional programming for more than 850 international leaders during the calendar year. Programmatic themes for 2017 include: Parliamentary/Legislator-to-Legislator, Accountable Governance, Education and Innovation, Social Services, Health Care, Rule of Law, Civil Society, and NGO Development.

On Monday, January 23, 2017, Open World’s grant recipients will convene in Washington, D.C. to discuss grant administration, program management, outreach to Congress, and additional programmatic responsibilities of a grant recipient.
